Jewel Cave National Monument

Jewel Cave is the world's second longest cave located at about 13 milesaway from the west of the town of Custer(South Dakota) Black Hills. This cave is about 233km of mapped passageways. This cave is lined with calcite crystals and hence its name is 'Jewel Cave' and it became a national monument on February 7, 1908 by Presidential Proclamation. Frank and Albert Michaud discovered the cave in 1900 when they felt that cold air is blowing through a small hole in a canyon. The entrance of the cave is then made wide by using dynamites.

The fees for adultes is $8.00 and $4.00 for children from 6-16yrs of age. The tickets can be collected at the visitor center.

SPELUNKING TOUR:

This tour is preferably for those visitors who want to visit the cave in its natural state. The visitors scramble over cave, chimney between cave walls, climbing semi-vertical rocks, belly crawl through narrow passages. The route is about 2/3 mile of cave and also learn about various caving experiences like low-impact caving, caving techniques, safety, and equipments. This tour takes about 3-4hrs to complete and is extremely strenuous. The visitors must be at least 16 yrs old and must provide over the ankle, lug-soled, lace-up boots, elbow and knee pads, gloves and long pants which are stained with manganese. I feel much better today while driving. Also I was not scared at all in the traffic and cut the u-turn quiet well and drive safely to home.

Driving is not a horror for me now but sometimes i got scared too. Today I have to face the red light and came to know what to do while standing at the red light and how to start slowly and then speed up the car. But I can't cut the U-turn perfectly today. My attention is going towards other cars passing through which again makes me little scared. Never do this while driving be attentive towards your own way.

I am going to practice on the highway in whole traffic and had to face red light or traffic jam or any other day by day. The U-turn also needs much practice for me. Now the end of the classes is near and I am not confident about driving. I am thinking of practicing further more days but my course is about to finish.

Now the driving classes are at the end so I have to learn about how to reverse the car either right or left. I got little confused about reversing the car but may be after some practice I can do it better. I do it in the open today it might be difficult while doing in parking area or the lane of your home or any other area. But today I found myself scared while passing through a large vehicles like trucks, buses etc.

Today is my 7th day of driving and we have decided to go on highway. As One day I have to go there either today or the next day so I decided for today. But it seems scared to drive in so much traffic and speed also. I have to face the U-turn now so Suddenly I got scared and got confused about what to do now. I had only stearings in my hand all other things was done by the tutor himself. I start shivering in such situation and there seems nothing before my eyes as it was the first time I have to face the U-turn. Also all other vehicles are passing through in full speed and overtaking my car. The tutor says not to look at them just drive in your own way. If you look at them you will get more scared. Even a policeman also shout at my tutor for classing in the traffic. Also a lady who was driving was about to touch our car then also the tutor handles the car. I am too scared today even I was shivering for about half an hour. It will take time to be practising in the traffic and with speed also. Driving is really a tough job for which you must be confident, concentrated, speedy and practise a lot.

After 20 years of car driving games finally Today is the first day of my learning the car driving on roads. At first, I was afraid that how could I learn it or handle all that stearings and breaks etc. But when the time came and the tutor instructs me about the driving I got confused and feel like its too hard to drive and making concentration all around at the same time. Neither your hands nor your legs are co-operating with the stearings and the breaks and the accelerators.

But slowly as I was following the instructions of the car driving instructor(By God grace the car they used to teach me have a second break,accelerators etc...) little confidence came in me that I will learn it easily and confidently. The first lesson in driving in car seems little tough but great experience of car driving which I enjoyed a lot.

Today is my second day of learning driving. I lose my confidence about driving. It seems that I can't do it. It's too hard to drive. That's why it seems little bit bored. But may be the another day will improve my practice and I can enjoy it again.

Its the third day of driving classes. Today I seems myself more confident about driving rather than the second day. I had practiced about handling the stearing but got confused in changing the gears and the clutches and breaks. All seems better now and more confident day by day. But at the whole I enjoyed it today.

Today is the day 4 of my driving lessons. The path is the same with no rush at the road. But I realize if your mind is little bit disturbed then there will be the chances of accidents. It requires concentration and attention on the road till you got habitual about driving. I had done so many mistakes today. Forgot one rule at first then the other and also realize not to see here and there while driving.

As we consider it a member of our family so it becomes our utmost duty to take care of it, the best we can do. So a standard management system is essential for rearing an orderly, well-mannered and disciplined dog. A casual attitude can lead to undesirable habits that may become difficult to get rid of in later stage. Aggression, attention, seeking and undesirable behavior in dogs require psychological treatment therapy training. So we are also responsible for their proper training, feeding, housing, handling, breeding, bedding, bathing, along with providing them company and security.
Deciding a PET DOG:
One should select the type of dog which fits into family environment, its purpose, food habits of family, housing, one can provide to a dog, along with from where to procure. Whether from a registered kennel club or dog breeder with pedigree record.

f) Gums should be firm, pink, and odorless, especially in BOXER Breed it should meet perfectly in a scissor bite.
g) Bottom region should be clean and dry, showing no sign of diarrhea or discharge from organs or any fungal infection.
h) Body coat of a pet should be glossy, clean and free from ectoparasites.
i) Claws, footpad and grooves between toes, area beneath tail should be thoroughly examined for ticks and inflammation.
j) When it is lifted in hands, the puppy should feel firm and heavier and relaxed.
k) Record its pulse rate, respiration and body temperature.
l) Faeces and urine should also be normal.

Always procure a pup after two weeks of weaning and preferably at 3-4 months of age to see breed characters as well.
